Nicholas Sourbis is managing director and the Head of Fixed-Income Investor Relations responsible for partnering with and supporting investors in National-insured bonds as well as all other outside constituents. In this role, Mr. Sourbis will be communicating to investors and all other outside constituents on a regular basis providing transparency with regard to detailed portfolio information, the company's risk management process and financial performance as well as articulating the company's business strategy.

Prior to joining the National management team, Mr. Sourbis was a managing director and head of the Global Transportation and Infrastructure Group within the Public Finance Division at MBIA Insurance Corporation. He was responsible for leading MBIA's new business activities in these sectors including airports, toll roads, other transportation related projects and various infrastructure financings.

At MBIA, Mr. Sourbis also led the Enterprise Finance Department responsible for MBIA's new business activities in the healthcare, municipal housing, military housing, higher education and other non-profit sectors. Through mid-2001, Mr. Sourbis was the head of the Consumer Asset-Backed Department at MBIA Insurance Corp.

Prior to MBIA, he spent over six years with Swiss Bank Corporation in both New York and London where he was responsible for the origination and structuring of a number of asset-backed transactions. Mr. Sourbis has an MBA in Finance from New York University's Leonard N. Stern School of Business Administration and a BA in International Relations from Tufts University.
