Jason Kissane is a managing director and head of the Western Region for National Public Finance Guarantee Corporation, which is based out of the company's San Francisco office. Mr. Kissane is responsible for new business generation and general marketing activities in the Western Region of the United States, with sector expertise and coverage which includes Tax-Backed, Transportation, Infrastructure and Utilities. Mr. Kissane is also the sector manager of the Higher Education and Non-Profit Sector throughout the United States for National.

Previously, Mr. Kissane was with MBIA Insurance Corporation, which he joined in 1993. He started in the Global Public Finance Division as an analyst of utility, transportation and tax-backed credits. In 1997, he helped open the San Francisco office and was instrumental in growing the public finance portfolio in the Western Region. In 2004, he became a managing director and head of the San Francisco office.

Mr. Kissane currently serves as a board member of the California Society of Municipal Analysts, where he regularly organizes events and conferences for its members. He also participates in industry events sponsored by the National Federation of Municipal Analyst, the Government Finance Officers Association, the National Association of College and University Business Officers, the American Public Power Association and the California Redevelopment Association. Mr. Kissane holds a bachelor's degree in political science from Manhattanville College in Purchase, NY.
